How you can bridge the gap of high deductable, copays for hospital and unforseen events

questions about

 Hospital Indemnity Plan

This is a policy that pays the client directly for time spent in the hospital.  Most plans also include an optional rider that covers part or all of the ambulatory cost. These two cost are of most concern for seniors who choose medicare advantage plans. This stress can be relieved for less than a dollar a day

Cancer Policies or Rider

Cancer use to mean death but we all know that in this day and age it is just another health concern. With the rise of high deductable insurance this health concern can be extremely hard on the finances. Cancer policies can come in many forms. The most common is the first occurance flat payout ranging from 5000 to 50,000. This is given to the client directly, the  flat sum of money is payed out the first time the cancer hits then the policy is finished.  Also available is a rebuild policy which pays a lump sum but rebuilds itself over a period of years so if there is a reoccurance it will be covered. Most company will only cover children under family plans until 25.Stand alone policy can be bought at 18.  Age is a determining factor in premium. This is a great gift to give a young adult.

Critical Care Riders

Many Insurance policy have critical riders for heart attack and stroke. This can be offered in a stand alone policy or paired with cancer policy or paired with accident policy.

Accident Policy

For individuals carrying high deductables this is a way to bridge the  gap if an accidental injury occurs.  In most cases the policy will cover all cost associated with the medical treament of the injury that is not covered by other insurance. It does not pay client directly
